Patook is a social networking app where you can meet new people who are near you and share your interests. But what makes this app unique is that there's no flirting allowed. This app is exclusively for creating new friendships, and users are expected to respect each other.
Download Patook, and the first thing you'll have to do is create your profile. Enter your name, upload a profile picture, enter where you live and write a brief description so other users learn a bit about your interests and hobbies. After that, you can start browsing the app. As you look through profiles, you can use the filters in the settings menu to only see profiles that fit your preferences.
Other user's profiles appear on the app's main screen. To skip an uninteresting profile, simply swipe to the left. On the other hand, if someone catches your attention and you wish to contact them, swipe to the right. All the profiles you swiped right on are moved to a separate list, where you can view them or send the users a message to start a conversation.
Finally, Patook has one more great feature: user profiles show how frequently a user responds to messages. Users that are rarely active on the app have a message on their profile stating that they do not respond frequently, so you know they may not respond or may not respond quickly.
